How we handle your data.

This document explains what personal data we collect through https://www.codelixstudio.com, for what purpose, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. We treat your data with care and don't sell it to third parties.

1. Who we are

Codelix is a brand under which a small group of freelancers, based in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova, provides digital development services. At the time of this document, the activity is not registered as a legal entity (LLC/SRL); we operate as freelancers and provide services under individual contracts with each client.

2. What data we collect

We collect only what's strictly necessary:

• Contact form data: name, email, company (optional), project type and your message.
• Anonymous technical data: IP address, browser type, page visited — kept temporarily in hosting logs for security and error diagnostics.

The site currently uses no tracking cookies or analytics tools. If we add such tools in the future, you will be informed through a consent banner.

3. Why we use the data

• To reply to your message and discuss your project.
• To enter into and perform a service contract, if you choose to work with us.
• To keep the site secure and operational.

We don't use your data for automated profiling, unsolicited marketing, or automated decisions with legal effect.

4. Legal basis

We process data based on your consent (when you submit the form), on contract performance (after we start working together), and on our legitimate interest in operating the site securely.

Applicable framework: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) for visitors from the EU and Romania, and Law no. 133/2011 on the protection of personal data of the Republic of Moldova.

5. Who we share data with

Your data is accessed only by the Codelix team. We use external providers for:

• Site hosting (Vercel Inc., EU infrastructure).
• Email (our business email provider).

These providers process data on our behalf only, under standard data-processing agreements. We don't sell or transfer your data to third parties for marketing.

6. How long we keep data

• Form messages: up to 24 months from your last interaction.
• Contractual data (if you become a client): per legal tax and accounting obligations, up to 10 years.
• Technical server logs: 30 days maximum.

7. Your rights

Under GDPR and Moldova Law 133/2011, you have the right to:

• know what data we hold about you (access);
• request correction of incorrect data (rectification);
• request deletion of data ("right to be forgotten");
• object to or restrict processing;
• request data portability to another operator;
• withdraw consent at any time.

For any request, email us at contact@codelixstudio.com. We reply within 30 days.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can file a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection (Moldova) or the equivalent authority in your country (ANSPDCP in Romania).

We may update this document. The current version is always available at this URL, with the date of the last change at the top.
